Average cost
Budget includes a fixed purchase fee. Shares = floor((budget − fee) ÷ price). If no whole share can be bought, no fee is charged and your entire budget remains. A budget below the entered fee is rejected. Average = (existing cost + purchase cost + fee) ÷ total shares. Existing cost should include earlier purchase fees.
Amounts are calculated using decimal arithmetic. Share affordability is never rounded up. Displayed averages are rounded to two decimals. Unrealized P/L is quantity × your entered market price minus cost; it is not total return.
Gold
Rate is always PKR per gram for the same purity as your holding. Tola weight is converted using 1 tola = 11.6638038 grams. We do not apply a second purity adjustment. Estimates exclude making charges, spreads and deductions.
Dividends
Net received = gross dividend minus withholding. This record is separate from share cost and unrealized P/L. Dates and amounts are entered by you.
Local-data privacy
Holdings, scenarios and dividends are stored in this browser, on this device. There are no accounts, analytics, market requests or cloud sync. Browser data clearing, private browsing and changing browsers or the local website address can make records unavailable. Export a JSON backup regularly. Backups contain your financial data; store them privately.
Imports are validated and previewed before confirmed replacement. Version 1 imports replace all local records; they do not merge. A rejected import does not alter your records. A local storage error is shown and is never reported as a successful save.
Local release 0.1
Live rates, trading signals, authentication, ads and paid features are outside this release. These tools help with arithmetic and recordkeeping, not investment recommendations. The original approved Concept C raster logo is retained; vector brand exports remain a later refinement.
